This Year
This is the best of this year. Lost steam, as I said and it was hot. Spent alot of time at Lake Sawyer with my kind friends, and a few trips locally: Lake Entiat in Eastern Washington and a Road Trip south along the Oregon Coast and to the Redwoods.
We'll call it my Jubilee year(like the Queen) .........60!
I really would like to sit out and loll around but I don't seem to that very well. Not that I'm doing anything important, but I guess hanging out all the time with myself is not THAT much fun.

Now I have to pick the fruit on the 5 trees: Plums, Pears and Apples. Maybe I should put a U PICK sign out. Luke the renter in the cottage has helped me some, so I should be able to handle it. I offered my fruit to the Food Bank but they didn't sound too excited. So it'll be out on the curb...Come and Get It!

A New Season
September is here.....the light has changed. Darker in the mornings and darker earlier at night. It has been a dry hot summer but the grass is greening up again. I want pull out the flowers in the pots because they are long gone. This year was not a flower year for me. Don't know why but couldn't get excited about it. Maybe just didn't want to spend extra money.
One thing I did do was take out some a useless area of grass and put in some flowers and stepping stones leading to the side yard patio (that I never use) This was early in the summer and the trusty nasturtiums have taken over. Foolproof flowers for sure!
